Vegan Proteins founders, Giacomo Marchese and Dani Taylor, are strength-based vegan athletes who compete together to raise awareness for veganism.
Giacomo is a vegan bodybuilder and powerlifter who has been vegan for 18 years years and involved in the fitness world for over 23 years. He has coached clients at NYSC, Bally’s Sport Club, and LA Fitness and holds a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell University.
Dani Taylor, the head coach at Vegan Proteins, is a champion vegan figure competitor that lost nearly 100 pounds at the start of her plant-based fitness journey 18 years ago. She understands what it’s like to be at every level from overweight and unhealthy to champion figure competitor. Dani pioneered the training and nutritional approaches that the Vegan Proteins coaches teach our clients today. She is a Certified Personal Trainer with the NASM, is certified in Plant-Based Nutrition with Cornell University and the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, and is Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified.
Together, Giacomo and Dani have coached over 1,000 vegan athletes, many of them to elite levels.

You will need dumbbells, bands, a bench, and a pull-up bar (optional).
We include all the tools you need to calculate your own macros. However, if you prefer customized macros from the coaches, we do offer that as an extra service.
The workouts change monthly and are written in a periodized manner to ensure you are making the best progress possible.
We have found that people have much better, long lasting success, when they learn how to build their own meal plans and that is what we teach you to do. So you can change your own menus as frequently as you’d like to.

You will be able to text your coach as much as you like, and they will always respond quickly within business hours, so you will be in touch with your coach quite frequently. You will also have weekly video check-ins where you detail the successes and areas that need improvement from your week prior. Based on your progress, your coach will make adjustments as needed to your nutrition and/or training programming and send you video feedback on everything you talked about. You can also tell your coach about any upcoming challenges in the week ahead so that you can strategize together ways to best rise to the occasion! Our coaches are HIGHLY responsive, because they truly care about their clients.
